Luminous choral music on the theme of peace, performed by one of the world’s finest choirs and recorded at Peterborough Cathedral. A hymn to tranquillity, the concert features music from across nine centuries, from the medieval abbess Hildegard of Bingen to Anna Clyne with a new work for choir and violin. The Leslie Bell Singers work during the day and rehearse at night for the joy they find in singing. Here they present widely differing numbers: Echo Song from 16th-century Italy is followed by the Québec folk song Quand j'étais chez mon père; the black spiritual I Couldn't Hear Nobody Pray contrasts with I'se the Boy That Builds the Boat, from the fishing hamlets of Newfoundland; and finally a special arrangement of Schubert's Ave Maria.

A story of a 16-year old girl who comes to Tokyo aspiring to be an actress.

Girish, a well-to-do engineer, is happily married to the love of his life, Vidya. The couple also have a talented young daughter. Unfortunately, things don't really work out between Girish and Vidya and they decide to get divorced. After his divorce, Girish is in a tough financial situation and he approaches Vidya for a land deal. They decide to sell the land to help Girish get back on his feet. However, the court procedure forces them to stay together for a couple of days during which the reasons that led to their divorce unfold.

St. Joseph's Oratory, a picturesque shrine silhouetted against Mount Royal, draws pilgrims by the thousands every year. They come from California by Greyhound bus, from Vancouver by plane, and on foot from many parishes surrounding Montréal. What is the fame of this shrine, that it attracts the devout and the curious alike? The story is told by Brother Placide Vermandère of the Order of the Holy Cross, who was personally acquainted with Brother André, after whom the shrine's famous temple is named. Cameras follow a procession of the League of the Sacred Heart through the streets of the city to the famous sanctuary and show many of the religious observances conducted in the church, including Mass attended by invalids who come in the hope of being healed of various afflictions.

In this artsy drama, a nihilistic youth from a wealthy family involves himself with an assortment of troubled souls until his father (who may be behind the son's troubles--psychoanalytically speaking) dies. When the young man goes to the wake, he soon chases all of his hypocritical relatives away by ritualistically dropping food from the buffet to exorcism them.
